Chapter 3 : Random stuff with FEELINGS

There goes the wind...

it's blowing through my hair making it dance into space like leaves falling from their branches. I looked up towards the sky away from the book I was reading it was written by Poe even though it was sad I really seemed happy to hear about his sadness...

Spots formed in front of my vision the brightness of the skies started to blind me, but even so I continued watching the clouds pass by as time slowly ticks away like how my life was at that moment. Firm yet trapped, Dancing yet stiff and the many words that cannot describe how it is.

Suddenly I heard someone calling me from afar her voice echoed through the woodlands it was melodic and beautiful it created a drowsy feeling from my eyes. I called her name 'Areania' my sister. my only sister.

"Juta!" She gasped for breath as she settle beside me. Earlier I had wandered far off from the house even though I was still new to the area my feet itched so badly that I suddenly ran off from my duties.

"Father was so worried when he came home!" She paused frowning.

"You're such a worry-wort. I'm sorry I left suddenly it's just that good shoes takes you to good places." I winked at her.

"Don't fool around! This place can be dangerous with all sorts of mythological creatures you're bound to get raped! or worse enslave!"

"mhm" I replied then laughing so loudly that Areania had to clasped her hands so hard on my mouth. "Areania I can't breath!" I mumbled on her hand.

"Promise that you won't laugh at any warnings I give to you?!" Areania removed her hands and I sighed as I agreed. We got up and walked back to the house there our father waited at the front porch sleeping with his face covered by the straw hat I gave to him as a souvenir and his two feet crossing one another on top of the porche's ledge.

"You two girls give me quite trouble...And an empty stomach." He chuckled as he eyed us from behind the straw hat. He sat up then motioning us to come to him urgently.

Quick to our feet we stood side by side near father. He was an old man yet he had an air of a young man in him maybe it was because he was born an immortal and I was a mortal child of his unlike Areania who was a nymph and immortal. I was totally different yet it did not change anything for what I felt towards them.

"Tonight there is a festival at the mortal realm far away in Scotland. Remember the Faerie Queene of ancient Briton's tales Juta?"

"Yes, I do."

"Well, Tonight we are going to visit. The greek god's appointed me to take back something from there and return here alive with tales and so. And Juta I am taking you there with me alone. Areania I meant for you to come but alas the gods told me not to bring you there for the fairies as they say aren't nice to nymphs or anything unfamiliar." He stopped gasping for breath.

"I understand father." Areania replied in a cold voice. "For the gods I will."

I wanted to protest having nothing to do with the gods as I had no religion at that time.

"No, Why should I go just because the gods told me so. They do not exist!"

"Then how do you explain us me and your sister?"

I bit my lip in defeat and nodded slowly.

"Pack your things by tonight we are going pass through the veil to the mortal realms."

At that he left our presence and joined a band of men on their way to the tavern.
I slumped down to the floor my arms limp and my eyes void. I was fuming inside I wanted to scream and yell at people to leave me the fuck alone, but no one was there except my sister and she dutifully left me to tend to her chores. I hated this I wished I was far away somewhere not near my family. I thought I could always run away back to my mother but there everything felt the same as if I was trapped. I had nowhere to go.

If only I could die then my soul would be free...

"Juta if you go you might be able to escape." My sister's voice rang into my head and I shot up looking at her faint smile there I realized it was a chance given to me, dare I say, by the gods?
